Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
Program Overview
The OSSD is a certification recognized across Canada and internationally, allowing eligible students to obtain an Ontario high school diploma.
To earn this diploma, students must have completed the equivalent of Grade 11 (or Secondary 5 in Quebec), obtain validation of their transcript and academic record by our Registrar, complete six pre-university courses in one of the three available streams (Science, Business, or Liberal Arts), and complete between 10 and 40 hours of community service, depending on their previous academic level.
Additionally, students must successfully complete the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course and Examination to be awarded the diploma.
Program Objectives
The curriculum aims to provide students with an enriching academic experience focused on developing critical thinking, effective communication skills, and the ability to make connections by applying acquired knowledge throughout their academic journey.
Students are assessed based on their progress, with the most frequent and consistent results used as a reference point for the final evaluation.
Our pre-university year equips students with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to succeed in their university studies. We rely on a team of experienced and passionate faculty members who are dedicated to teaching and mentoring students to reach their full potential. Students have the freedom to choose the study profile that best suits their interests: Liberal Arts, Business & Law, or Science, while benefiting from personalized support.
At the end of their program, graduates will receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), ranked among the top five diplomas worldwide and NCAA approved (Source: World Population Review, IPSOS, MSNBC, World Education Journal).
